R&D Tax Concession Applications must be lodged by 30 April 2012

Are you eligible for the R&D Tax Concession? If your company actively invests in its future, then it’s likely that a proportion of your expenditure may be eligible for a tax concession.

The existing R&D Tax Concession allows eligible companies (incorporated in Australia) to deduct up to 125% of eligible expenditure incurred on R&D activities.

As part of this existing R&D Concession Program, the R&D Tax Offset allows small companies to obtain a cash rebate equivalent to the R&D Tax Concession deduction. In most cases, the tax offset will be equal to 37.5 cents in the dollar for each dollar of R&D expenditure.

Daniel Zadnik wins MFAA Finance Broker of the Year

Daniel Zadnik from McLean Delmo Lending & Finance won the coveted title of Finance Broker of the Year awarded by the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) in Sydney in March.

The industry’s top performers were celebrated at the prestigious 2012 MFAA Excellence Awards presentation dinner held at The Westin, Sydney on the evening of Friday 9 March.

This is Daniel’s first year as a MFAA finalist and winner in the highly competitive 2012 MFAA Excellence Award ‘Finance Broker of the Year’ category.

The last year has been full of changes and challenges for the home lending market, but Daniel has been able to stay ahead of the pack due to his commitment to and expertise in the lending market, his extensive network of contacts, mentoring of other brokers and persistent efforts to actively build relationships with borrowers, lenders, strategic partners and colleagues.

The MFAA Excellence Awards are the most rigorous in the Australian mortgage and finance industry and are judged by an independent panel of business professionals and experts.

“The MFAA awards are the premier awards in the mortgage and finance sector, playing a very important role in lifting the standards of service and professionalism in our industry,“ said MFAA CEO, Phil Naylor.

“Daniel Zadnik’s continued innovation, growth and success in the industry is to be commended. This award speaks volumes of Daniel’s exceptional practice and professionalism in the mortgage and finance industry,” he said.
